Equilibrium turns the HRV your Apple Watch already records into a daily stress score, computed entirely on your device.
Why is there no score yet? Equilibrium compares you against your own baseline, which takes about 7 days of watch wear to build. Until then the app shows calibration progress.
Why does it say “your score returns later today”? Your score compares this time of day against the same time on previous days. Early in the morning there may not be comparable history yet; the score appears as the day progresses.
I searched my phone and can’t find the app. After an update, iOS can take a little while to reindex. Searching “Equilibrium” works after the next reindex or a reinstall.
Do I need an Apple Watch? You need something that writes HRV (SDNN) to Apple Health. For almost everyone, that’s an Apple Watch worn regularly — nights included, since overnight readings are the richest.
Where is my data stored? On your device, full stop. See the privacy policy. There are no accounts and no servers.
Is this a medical device? No. Equilibrium shows patterns in your own data and does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition.
