Effective date: August 10, 2026
Equilibrium is a stress-monitoring app for iPhone and Apple Watch built by an independent developer. This policy is short because the app’s design makes it short: your data never leaves your device.
With your permission, Equilibrium reads one data type from Apple Health: Heart Rate Variability (SDNN). It does not read anything else, and it never writes to Apple Health.
Your HRV readings are used on your iPhone to compute a personal stress score. The app keeps a short local history of recent scores (to detect sharp rises) and a small snapshot for its widgets. All of this is stored only on your device, inside the app’s own storage.
Stress alerts are generated locally on your iPhone and, when your phone is locked, mirrored by iOS to a paired Apple Watch. No notification content passes through any third-party service.
Delete the app. Because everything lives on your device, deleting the app deletes everything the app ever stored. Your underlying HRV readings remain in Apple Health, under your control, as they were before.
Equilibrium shows patterns in your own data. It does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition and is not a substitute for professional medical advice.
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new effective date. Questions: wangwy1105@gmail.com
